"Harmony and Difference: Fu Wenjun Digital Painting Photography Exhibition" will be held at the National Art Museum of China from March 9th to 19th, 2017. The solo exhibition was hosted by the Chongqing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Professor of the Art School of Peking University and Peng Feng, curator of the 2011 China Pavilion of the Venice Biennale, acted as curators, and exhibited five series of 57 works by Fu Wenjun in recent years. Leading to a world of fantasy, depth, poetry and tension, shows the powerful expression of contemporary photography.

Fu Wenjun, a contemporary Chinese artist, graduated from the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. He is mainly engaged in the artistic creation of conceptual photography, installations, sculptures and oil paintings. He proposed and created the “Digital Painting Abstract Photography” genre. The works often reflect the artist's reflections and reflections on many issues in the history, culture and humanities of the East and West, including the interrelationship between different cultures in the context of globalization, the legacy and inheritance of Chinese tradition in a rapidly changing society, and the industrialization and urbanization of Chinese society.

Process and so on. He has held solo exhibitions at the Yuanmingyuan Site Museum, Today Art Museum, United Nations Headquarters in New York, and the Guangdong Museum of Art. He was invited to participate in the Italian Triennial, the First Asian Biennale and the Fifth Guangzhou Triennial and the 18th The Saulville Biennale, the Nord Art in the Northern Art District of Germany, the “Unseen Voice”, the 55th Venice International Art Biennial Parallel Exhibition and other important international art exhibitions. He has won the Gold Award of the Argentine International Contemporary Art Biennale, the "Best Artist of the World" Award at the Eiffel Tower Exhibition, and the recognition and recognition of international art awards such as the Lorenzo International Art Prize at the Florence International Contemporary Art Biennale.

Artist Fu Wenjun has been engaged in photography art creation for nearly 30 years. He has long thought and explored the expression of ideas in contemporary photography. In recent years, his works have almost abandoned the pure documentary nature of his early years, showing the poetic temperament and aesthetic interest of Chinese traditional culture. At the same time, it is a photographic art creation with a symbolic and contemporary art problem. He called this new photographic genre "digital painting."

Fu Wenjun's "number painting" broke the opposition between photography and painting, completely destroying the causal relationship between photography and objects. He believes that photographers can collect various image elements to express their feelings like a painter. The audience can read the emotions and meanings of the photographic works just as they appreciate the paintings. “Digital Painting Photography” let go of the artist's hands and feet. He can boldly integrate the painting elements to create conceptual photography. It is like the freehand brushwork in Chinese traditional art, and it is full of heart and soul. At the same time, it does not stick to the singularity of photography, and forms a new visual viewing experience with subjective thinking and artistic creation from the artist's origin.

Formal freedom makes the expression of thought more comfortable. In the context of globalization, the integration and development of multiculturalism is not to dissolve each other, but to live in harmony and complement each other with their own unique attitudes and charms. Fu Wenjun has a clear understanding of this point. He combines traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy with Western classic sculptures in an elegant and timeless picture. The two are different and beautiful, beautiful and beautiful.

After curbing Fu Wenjun's artistic thoughts and creations, the curator Peng Feng selected four sets of photographic works and "post-industrial era" installation photography works of "Harmony and Difference", "Night Wind West", "He Xintong" and "Game". In the National Art Museum of the National Art Museum of China, the unique "digital painting" exudes infinite charm and sparks with people's hearts.
